Welcome to the remarkable transformation of Basildon Bus Station, brought to life by Brookes Contracting. Tasked with refurbishing the worn-out station for First Bus Essex, our team took up the challenge to breathe new life into this essential transportation hub.
With the station showing signs of wear both inside and out, the need for refurbishment was undeniable. Our mission was two-fold: to enhance the aesthetics and improve the operational efficiency of the bus station. Maintaining the station's ability to operate at full capacity during the construction process was a top priority, necessitating open communication and unwavering efficiency.

On the inside, we dedicated meticulous effort to clean and redecorate the entire interior space while addressing any necessary repairs. Outside, the exterior façade was expertly repaired and adorned with a rejuvenated appearance.
Recognizing the importance of a fully functioning bus depot, we went the extra mile to ensure the station's needs were met. A new concrete service yard was constructed, accompanied by a state-of-the-art drainage system to streamline operations and enhance the station's functionality.
The project's total value amounted to an impressive £550k, reflecting the comprehensive work done by Brookes Contracting.
